At Hotel Vanilla, we process your personal data in various contexts, e.g. when you order services from us, stay overnight in our hotels. This policy has been developed to describe Hotel Vanilla's (org. no. 556518–6839) handling of personal data based on the requirements of the EU's Data Protection Regulation. "Personal data" refers to all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a natural person alive today.
Processing of personal data in connection with booking overnight stays and stays in connection with the bookings that you make yourself or that others make on your behalf, we process and protect your personal data in accordance with current legislation. It is necessary that you provide the information we request in order for us to process your booking. We use the information to be able to identify you as a resident with us and to be able to fulfill the agreement on booking and purchase of services.

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes specified in this policy. We also save your data as long as necessary to fulfill e.g. accounting requirements.
We carry out thinning of personal data in accordance with current legislation and delete or de-identify personal data when the purpose for the processing of personal data no longer exists.

Hotel Vanilla will not sell, disclose or distribute personal data to third parties without your consent, or unless applicable laws, including the Data Protection Regulation and GDPR, valid authority order or court permit or require us to do so.
